Facilities
Tiskita has a swimming pool, a small library, and other facilities. When you lounge by the swimming pool, birds, monkeys, sloths, and the resident iguanas are usually around.

The lodge is located centrally between the cabins. From the lodge, it is only a few minutes walk to the cabins, the rainforest, the beach and the waterfall & fresh water pools. The swimming pool is directly next to the lodge.
Dining Area & Bar
The lodge has an open air dining area with ceiling fans. The self-service bar is connected to the lodge and close to the swimming pool. There is no music at the lodge, the only sounds are the nearby ocean and the wildlife.
Meals
Tiskita serves authentic healthy Costa Rican and some western meals family style. All our food is as local as possible and our staff is from the town of Punta Banco.
Vegetarian diets, or other special dietary requirements, are easily accommodated.
Jams, dressings and frescos are all homemade using many of our own fruits. Tortillas and the chips we serve are also freshly made every time. Always available throughout the day are freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee and locally sourced fresh juices.
Snacks are available anytime in between at the main lodge.
Coffee, Tea and Juices
Coffee, tea, hot chocolate milk, tropical fruit juice, and filtered water are available at the lodge throughout the day, free of charge.
Free Art Lesson
For art lovers, between January 23rd and February 11th, there is one free art lesson included in any package of three or more days, by art teacher André van Melle.
Max 12 people. Every 2 or 3 nights after dinner.
Library
In the dining area is a small library with a reading area and a small collection of natural history specimens.
Donations are always welcomed as we work to build up our library for our guests to enjoy while visiting Tiskita.
Gift Shop
The lodge has a small gift shop with apparel, jewelry designed and made in Costa Rica, and crafts made by the Guaymí, the local indigenous population.
Games Area
In between the lodge and the self-service bar is a games area with a mahogany ping-pong table, a foosball table, and a chess table.
We usually have decks of cards, dominoes or an assortment of board games laying around as well.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool has a spectacular view of the rainforest. There are lounge chairs, and beach towels are available in the lodge.

Try yoga on Tiskita’s yoga deck with a view of the Pacific Ocean.
Tiskita has a brand new yoga deck! Our yoga deck is embedded in the rainforest and has a view of the ocean and sunset through the trees.Â
We have a yoga teacher on-site or you can lead your own practice. It doesn't get better than this for peace of mind, tranquility and flexibility.
Yoga classes are offered daily at Tiskita for our guests. Walk-ins are welcome as well for an additional fee.

Waterfall & Fresh Water Pools
A waterfall and fresh water pools are located near the lodge. The trails into Tiskita’s private biological reserve and the organic orchard also start at the lodge.
