Guided Walks

Guided walks can be tailored to your interests, from wildlife and birding to medicinal plants, tropical ecology and longer hikes through the reserve.

Guided walks may also be available to non-guests by advance arrangement. Please contact us to ask about availability.

Night Tour

When conditions are right, explore the rainforest after dark with a guide. Night walks offer a different view of the forest, with insects, spiders, frogs and other nocturnal wildlife becoming more active after sunset.

Birdwatching

Birding begins right around the lodge, pool and cabins, with many more species found along the trails and throughout the reserve. Our guides can help identify local birds and search for some of the more elusive species.

Fruit Tasting & Orchard

Tiskita’s organic orchard sits in a small valley surrounded by rainforest and contains more than 125 varieties of native and exotic tropical fruit.

Depending on what is in season, guests may taste fruits such as cacao, anona, South American sapote, starfruit and mangosteen while exploring the orchard.
